What is G-Mark certification for lighting products?

G-Mark (GCC Conformity Marking) is a unified certification system for the Gulf Cooperation Council. Here's what you need to know:
- Mandatory for all LED lighting products sold in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman
- Issued by a GSO-recognized certification body after product testing in accredited labs
- Once certified, the G-Mark logo must appear on product packaging and labels
- G-Mark certification is valid for 3 years and must be renewed before expiry
- Products without G-Mark can be seized at customs and the importer fined
