What certifications are required for LED lights in Saudi Arabia?

Saudi Arabia has strict import requirements for LED lighting products. All products must meet the following certification standards:

  • SASO 2902:2024 — Saudi energy efficiency and safety standard for LED lighting
  • G-Mark — GCC conformity marking, mandatory for all 6 GCC countries
  • SABER registration — online platform for product registration and Certificate of Conformity (CoC)
  • CB Certificate — international electrotechnical testing for product safety
